Acceptance Of Terms

By using Website Auditor, you agree to use the extension responsibly and only on websites where your inspection, analysis, and asset review are lawful and permitted.

Purpose Of The Extension

Website Auditor provides best-effort design extraction, design-system analysis, UI/UX audit findings, and local preview tools. Results are intended to support professional review and should not be treated as a complete replacement for human design, accessibility, legal, or security assessment.

Acceptable Use

  • Use the extension for legitimate design research, auditing, documentation, and learning.
  • Respect website terms, copyright, trademarks, and intellectual property rights.
  • Do not use extracted materials to misrepresent ownership or impersonate another brand.
  • Do not attempt to bypass browser, website, network, or platform security controls.

Best-Effort Results

The extension depends on browser APIs, page structure, permissions, CORS behavior, and runtime access. Some assets, scripts, screenshots, or computed styles may be blocked, unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate. Warnings should be reviewed as part of the result.

Style Preview And Inspection

Any style changes made through the extension are temporary client-side previews. They do not modify the website's server, source repository, deployed files, or persistent user account data.

Exports And Clone Artifacts

Downloaded reports, JSON files, and clone-related artifacts are provided for local analysis. You are responsible for how exported materials are stored, shared, published, or reused.

No Warranty

The extension is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that every audit finding, token extraction, asset classification, or clone artifact will be complete, error-free, or suitable for a specific business or compliance purpose.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the project owner is not responsible for losses, claims, damages, or disputes arising from your use of the extension, exported data, audit reports, or generated artifacts.

Changes To These Terms

These terms may be updated as the product evolves. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
